Gatorworks is an award-winning integrated design group based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our creative team is composed of a group of young and innovative graphic designers, interactive developers, and programmers. We love to find cutting-edge, yet practical, ways to solve the business problems of our clients.
Our work includes projects for medium-sized organizations in a variety of industries including healthcare, entertainment, governmental, industrial, and education just to name a few.

Be willing to manage and work directly with clients.
Responsibilities include:
Development of custom / complex websites for clients across the southern United States
On-going maintenance of existing websites
Implement best practices related to web standards and search engine optimization
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years professional experience in website design/development
Proficient in programming, web page design, content management, project management, and other digital communication tools
Proficiency in writing hand-coded, cross-browser compatible, standards based HTML (preferably HTML5) and CSS3
Ability to slice designs in Photoshop and prepare HTML/CSS
Experience with JavaScript/jQuery
Proficient in WordPress development as a content management system
Bonus Skills:
General Interface Design Capabilities
HTML5/CSS3 knowledge
Social Media Integration Techniques
Ability to manage domains / DNS
Familiarity with the ExpressionEngine CMS
Zombie Survival Skills
Location
We are located in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, about an hour from New Orleans.
Candidate MUST be able to provide work samples demonstrating development capabilities
