What drew you to digital marketing? Why do you enjoy what you do?

The ability to help a business connect with its customers and potential customers through the utilization of technology. I enjoy assisting businesses with tackling problems and coming up with solutions to help them overcome those challenges.

With over 10 years in sales and strategy across various industries, what’s a valuable lesson you’ve learned that you think every sales professional should know?

Always put your customer’s needs first and put yourself in their shoes. If you can do that, then you’ll be able to present the best possible solutions for them to achieve their goals.

As an LSU Tigers fan, what’s your favorite memory of celebrating your team?

2000 LSU vs. Tennessee. LSU defeats #11 Tennessee as major underdogs. We storm the field. I may or may not have brought home a part of the Tiger Eye and planted it in my yard…

We’ve heard you enjoy exploring YouTube rabbit holes. What’s the most interesting or unexpected fun fact you’ve stumbled upon during one of these explorations?

Not really a fact but I got really invested in the Business Insiders “Big Batches” series recently. They have different episodes detailing how large quantities of food are made. One example is how this one temple in India cooks and feeds 100,000 people a day for free.

As a self-taught graphic designer in your spare time, how do you think a creative mindset contributes to effective problem-solving in the business and sales world?

It helps me think outside the box when it comes to solving problems. Not all problems should or can be solved with a cookie-cutter solution, so it helps to be able to creatively solve problems.

If you could play a round of golf with any historical figure, fictional character, or celebrity, who would it be and why?

I think the generic answer is Tiger Woods because I grew up watching him in his prime. He was so dominant for so long, which was a testament to the consistent work he put in day in and day out and his desire to win. I think those qualities can be useful for anyone in their personal and professional life. On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, it would definitely be fun to play a round with Happy Gilmore.
