A former petroleum engineer, Jay possesses the creativity to visualize the finished product and the technical problem-solving skills to build it.
After graduating from LSU and spending 5 years in the oil field, Jay traded in his hard-hat for a MacBook and took to learning everything about computer science that he could get his hands on. Thanks to self-training, freelance work, and many coffee shop commutes, Jay brought his unique talents to the Gatorworks team to work as an Interactive Developer. He specializes in building streamlined user-interface applications and coming up with creative solutions to novel ideas.
Jay grew up in Jacksonville, FL before moving to his then-second home of Louisiana to attend LSU. He is a Happy’s Running Club regular and the Vice President of Le Cercle de Bacchus. You can usually find him hitting the golf links, running trails, or frequenting music venues in his free time.
