E-commerce is not a project to embark on lightly. Luckily, Cost Cutting Blades had a vision as precise as the blades they sell. This online retailer has grown by leaps and bounds, cutting through the challenges presented by traditional retail competition, e-commerce, shipping, and a very competitive online sales space.

With Cost Cutting Blades competing in an online retail space with some big names like Grainger, Home Depot, and many others Gatorworks needed to build a site that would truly help their products stand out. We achieved this through a variety of different methods, each one revolving around simplifying the user journey to locate and purchase a product. The site includes various product and equipment categories, a search feature, as well as the ability to select your equipment and what kind of material you’re looking to cut to help you find the perfect blade.

On an individual product page, we ensured that the important info that a user wishes to locate is displayed first followed by their selling points and differentiators such as nationwide shipping, 1 year warranty on all products, a 30 day refund policy, and that all products are made in the USA including various points to indicate the top-level quality of each product available.
