Wanderlust by Abby is a Baton Rouge based boutique conceptualized by owner Abby Bullock. Its distinctive style and locally sourced products create a unique experience for shoppers.
The Project
To prepare for this campaign, our digital marketing team reviewed past targeted display campaigns, paying special attention to similar retail clients to see what sort of strategies worked best. An in-depth discovery phase, including a site visit enabled us to hear and see the needs and passion of the owners.
Ad Designs
With so many fun photos at use for creative purposes, our team was able to highlight what made Wanderlust unique through ads—high-quality, on-trend products that speak to customers’ sense of wonder and creativity. Whether it be through Holiday ads that promoted witty “Naughty is the New Nice” themed shirts, or vibrant Mardi Gras ads that played into the celebratory season of “Laissez les bons temps rouler”, the higher than average click-through-rate proved the effectiveness of visual ads for this local boutique.
Site Retargeting
Roughly 98% of consumers will leave a website without taking the desired action. This tactic re-engages those consumers with an entirely new level of performance and insight. Site retargeting serves ads to users who have already visited Wanderlust by Abby’s site while they are visiting other sites across the web. Following users based on their browsing behavior increases brand exposure and is an effective method of converting site visitors into sales leads.
Project Summary
Wanderlust by Abby ads were seen nearly 3 million times throughout 2019, resulting in 781 actions (or store visits). Most importantly, every single month saw a YOY increase in sales. The average monthly increase in sales for all of 2019 was 55.25%. Through targeted ads that featured Wanderlust’s unique products, we were able to expand their online and in-store sales through successful brand exposure.
